Hello Legends and welcome to my first ‘official’ blog post. Hope you’re all well and of course living the dream! 🙂
I may not be a professional whatsoever and I may not travel every week. But over the years I have learnt a few TRAVEL TIPS AND TRICKS from others, and what type of tips and tricks would they be, if I didn’t pass them on.
I am off to Bali, Indonesia for the 5th time this Friday the 30/6. Which I am super duper keen for – of course. And of course you will be seeing many more posts and photos on my blog and social medias during this trip. But firstly to start him off, we shall begin with something real different. A Tips & Tricks post…

CLEAR-HARD TOILETRIES BAGS
As handy and convenient as Ziplock bags are, they still have many negatives to them. Especially when it comes to carrying liquids. As Ziplock bags do not have a hard covering, they cannot keep your goods safe and protected. The best alternative which can be found very affordable is a – CLEAR HARD TOILETRIES BAG.
These nifty bags will keep all your goods safe, spill-free and of course protected from the belting our poor bags receive during our holidaying. They also make it extremely convenient to see what you have in each bag making life of course more simpler for you.

TRAVEL BOTTLES & LABELS
So the next big thing is of course TRAVEL BOTTLES. If you have not experienced a shampoo and body wash explosion, you’re one lucky bugger. Because I have. And the aftermath was disastrous.
So on one of the millions of Kmart trips I take a week, I found this awesome Travel Kit, which comes with two 100ml pump bottles, two 100ml flip flap bottles, 2 small jars, 1 funnel and 1 label sheet, and of course the Clear Travel Bag – above. GENIUS!
(excludes the mouthwash – purchased separately).

With the four 100ml bottles that come with this TRAVEL KIT. I emptied, a proportion dictated on the length of my trip, into each bottle.
The flip flap bottles are filled with shampoo and conditioner.
The pump bottles are filled with face-wash and body soap.
And the small jars are filled with face-scrub and hair-treatment.
This saves you soooo much mess and waste.

FOLD OUT TOILETRIES BAG
Instead of rummaging through a deep bag, with an endless hole, that you swear eats all your goods. Meet the best invention – the FOLD OUT TOILETRIES BAG.
It has two sides to fill – great for the bigger items. I usually wont fill mine with makeup, as the bag is bigger, smaller items will slide about. You can use the handles to hang it up in your hotel, caravan or car, wherever it may be. This bag will make your trip that more hassle-free.

A PACKING LIST
To save you the hassle of forgetting important items. Create a PACKING LIST you can view and check-off as you pack – it is the best decision since nutella-filled donuts. YUM!
Any little notepad will do, and once you’re done you can chuck it into your carry bag to jot down any important points. Which is definitely a necessity when travelling overseas. Especially when you can use the notepad as a hard surface to lean on, because FORMS. International trips allow for thousands of forms. So don’t forget to pack that bloody notepad.
(Excludes highlighter, permanent marker & pen – purchased separately).
SMART CARRY ON LUGGAGE
If you are travelling internationally – CARRY ON LUGGAGE needs to be packed efficiently as you will find yourself holding that bag 24/7, possibly resulting in a broken back and shoulder. So, to make life easier, pack your bag practically.
If you’re into Handbags, purchasing a deep bag with long straps is essential for travelling. This Michael Kors bag does the job perfectly.
**An affordable option works just as well. No matter what the price – it works if it gets the job done 🙂

For myself, I need three carry on bags.
The Drone Backpack.
As the first two, listed, fill themselves, for my handbag, it is more about efficient packing.
I usually pack my passport – an essential for International destinations. A good book, wallet, iPad, Laptop, international charging converters, charging cables, lipgloss, sunglasses and a change of clothes for when I reach my destination.

Within your handbag you can purchase other storage items that help reduce the clutter in your handbag. I bought this awesome little iPad case from Typo that has storage compartments inside. This is where I can store my headphones, charging cables, and portable charger. ITS FREAKIN AWESOME.

ROLLING YOUR CLOTHES INSTEAD OF FOLDING
ROLLING CLOTHES instead of folding is the best trick of the trade. It leaves sooooo much more room for holiday goodies and allows you to view all your clothing easily inside your suitcase, as well as decreasing wrinkles in your threads.
Rolling into a small parcel will make your suitcase super organised and easy to view.
BUYING A SMART SUITCASE
Purchasing a SMART SUITCASE will make your life that much easier when travelling.
The perfect suitcase is defined by –
Easy to manoeuvre (handles).
I have a great suitcase from Antler. It is purple and has ribbons connected to it so that I can distinctly tell its mine once it reaches the big world within the Airport.

Once you roll all your clothes into your suitcase, I add my toiletries bags and use my bigger items – hoodies, tracksuit pants (airport return flight clothes) as protectant shields for my possibly breakable goods. As well as these air pockets that are great for suit-cases to protect damageable items.
With the inside strap you can securely hold in your luggage. Also easily changing the length of the strap using the buckle – depending on how much Shopping you do!

With the zip-pocket located on the bottom/inside of the suitcase – it is great for smaller items that can easily ‘squish’. I shove all my bather bottoms and tops inside here that can be safely stored, instead of flying around your suitcase.
With the other zip pocket on the top half of the suitcase. I use it to store my shoes, hats, undies and bra’s. It is such a big zip pocket it is perfect to store smaller items that will move around in your suitcase.
There are all my TRAVEL TIPS & TRICKS to help you have the best hassle-free holiday ever. All items in pictures have a link below them to direct you guys all to each item to make it easier for you all to purchase them, if you of course like them.
I hope you legends learnt something and can use a trick or two in your next holiday venture.
